Major/Minor: Economics (Major), Environmental Studies (Minor), Int. Studies (Minor) Brief Biography: I hail from Los Angeles, CA and I am the middle child, with an older sister and a younger brother. My sister has been healthy competition in my educational pursuits and has always supported me in my dreams. I grew up in a very diverse family that essentially covers every major ethnic group. Thus, a cultural connection to many groups is something I hold close to my heart. Throughout my years I have learned the importance of giving back and setting a good example for those that follow. Community service has prompted my career aspirations to be a Micro-financial consultant. Achievements: What are you doing now? Of course I am still a student but I do look forward to my internship in Shanghai, China this coming fall. It will be my first time out of the country so that will make the trip that much more special to me. On campus, I am partaking in the Management and Leadership Development Program and I hope to graduate having learned a lot of applicable skills to help me in pursuit of my career goals. Why did you pledge? I pledged primarily for the leadership skills that one gains throughout the process. I wanted to leave the process and Dartmouth for that matter, a more well-rounded and comfortable individual that does not break under pressure, feels at home in any social situation, and commands attention by the essence of my own presence.
